The 19th China Biometric Recognition Conference (CCBR 2025) was successfully held in Nanchang. Co-sponsored by the China Society of Image and Graphics (CSIG), the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI), and the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the conference was co-organized by Nanchang Hangkong University and Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, with strong support from the Biometric Recognition Professional Committee (Preparatory) of CSIG, the Youth Working Committee, the Visual Big Data Professional Committee, the IEEE Beijing Section Biometrics Council Chapter, the Nanchang Member Activity Center of CSIG, and the Jiangxi Public Security Science and Technology Innovation Federation. More than 400 teachers, students, and enterprise experts from over 120 well-known universities, research institutes, and enterprises at home and abroad attended the conference, engaging in theoretical and applied research on biometric recognition.

As one of the "new infrastructures" in the digital economy era, biometric recognition has quietly penetrated into financial payments, urban security, smart classrooms, and even daily consumer electronics, becoming a key pivot to drive industrial digitalization and intelligent upgrading. Taking this opportunity, the "Biometric Recognition Industry Application Forum" gathered top forces from industry, academia, and research, focusing on cutting-edge technologies, implementation scenarios, standard formulation, and collaborative innovation, jointly outlining the growth curve and value blueprint of the industry.
